This requires the use of a Kinetics FastPath box. I have not yet tested this as I have yet to receive a version of TOPS for the Sun that works with my revision (3.5) of the Sun OS. I fear I will upgrade to 4.0 before my patch to run under 3.5 arrives. I would like to test using TOPS for access to R/O disks and using NCSA's Telnet at the same time to provide the file transfer and virtual terminal functions to TCP/IP hosts. Has anyone compared TOPS Terminal with NCSA Telnet? It was supposed to provide access to TCP/IP hosts, but I haven't heard about it in awhile.
