I wish to apologize for the slight lateness in getting the poll results posted
to the net. I had the numbers all ready to go, but my usually reliable node
got kinda flaky all of a sudden. The fact that these messages are appearing
means I got on at last.

Also, I want to apologize to all who shot me down on the AT&T cutting out its
backbone sites (on the order of: "We know already, dummy! Don't you read
news.announce.important?"). Sorry, but on my regular node (this one where I'm
entering this message now), my reading list doesn't include that newsgroup
(and I don't think it has it anyway).
