Of course, I got the "I like the 2000 keyboard better than the 1000 keyboard" response - personal tastes I guess. I was told that it would be easy to hack up a DIN/phone connector adapter to connect a 1000 to the 2000. Apparently they both use the 8520 serial line to communicate with the keyboard, only the connector is different. Several people told me about a new keyboard for the 2000 which has a better feel, "fat" function keys, and the old left-amiga key (instead of the chicken head key), which has been shipping for a few months. (I'm going to wait to upgrade until I can get a 2000 with this keyboard.) Well, there's the three solutions I got: learn to like the keyboard, hack up a connector, or get one of the new keyboards.
