They've been changing that frequently for the last two years of their development. I've heard that memory costs, European demand, factory loss in Taiwan, Helios development, etc, etc, are delaying. Anyone heard anything else? Why did Atari's new VP of Computer Marketing leave (resigned/fired/nothing to do)? Any word on the Transputer machine from Commodore -- comparison to Abaq? June's Byte has an article on the Abaq and Helios. Helios isn't written in occam. Seems Mach from CMU would have been a good choice, but they (Atari) don't seem to be aware of its existance. Is Atrai (Corporation) on the network (this list)? Do they participate (Neil Harris, et al -- or their new PR firm that replaces his former function)? They have their own bbs inhouse. I used it for a while in the past, but seemed a waste. Does anyone know if it's improved in the last year? Hope this message hasn't seemed too negative in tone. I really am enthusiastic about the Abaq -- if it's produced -- shades of 120 ST/C64 portable/and many others.
