Here at MICOM-Interlan we are using the SDK's duel boot mode. When you boot you are prompted to type ESC for DOS and ENTER for OS/2. Both systems use the same disk formats and get along quite well running in the same partitions. Lacking the duel boot SDK, I suggest installing OS/2 on the hard disk and booting DOS from a floppy. If done right, the floppy need only have DOS CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT on it. Any device drivers as well as COMMAND.COM can be loaded from the hard disk. This arrangement allows both DOS and OS/2 to boot quickly. Mike Deem Disclamer: I said it, not some old company!!!!
