I would like to get a copy of emacs look alikes for my PC (that is
Jove and/or MicroEmacs), however cant manage to actually get anything
from the university computer down to my PC successfully (the most
reliable path involves an IBM that seems to enjoy munging files).
Does anyone have any suggestions about methods that might not involve
long phone calls - that is, is there someplace where i can actually
get a (or a couple) diskettes with the stuff on them.  Im willing to
send blank diskettes in return (or (small amounts of) money if
necessary).

Please respond by mail as our news feed is not always as reliable as
