You could place all your INITs in a Virtual folder that visually unclutters the desktop display, but to the system, these items look on the directory level the virtual folder is stored in. Apple, does this not sound like an excellent idea? My system folder currently contains 106 files (26 inits) and assorted 'Preferences' files created by applications.... Phil Hunt
