Something less than wonderful happened yesterday morning, when I powered up
my Mac SE with HD20SC internal hard disk. The internal hard disk failed to
boot - the Mac behaved as if it didn't have a hard disk. So, I waited, but
nothing happened. 

UNTIL I pressed Command, Option, Shift and Backspace keys. The hard disk
booted up without any further trouble. I decided to run Disk First Aid on it
and to my DISMAY, I discovered that the internal hard disk's SCSI ID had
changed from 0 (which is supposed to be hard coded) to 2!!!!

Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is there a fix?
