Featuritus is certainly a problem these days.  I hope the solution is not
to strip programs, but to *unbundle* them.  If I already have a good draw
program, I would want a version of FWP without the draw environment.
If I already use a DA spelling checker, I would want a version of FWP without
a spelling checker.  On so on.

FWP has made a start in this direction by not integrating a spelling checker
(they bought one instead).  Now if The new owners of FWP have some marketing
smarts they'll try this.  (Incidentally, how 'bout a simple grammar checker?
I could use something to check capitalization, double words, punctuation,
etc.)
