The icon, type, and creator were all correct. My work-around (not knowing about the bundle-bit fix) was to open Font-DA mover first, open these files, and copy their contents to new DA files, then trash the old ones. Next time, I'll try resetting the bundle bit and see what happens. But is it necessary to use ResEdit for this?
