I think the closest category would be misc.jobs.women, but this is
obviously still a compromise.

The controversy over the naming of comp.women has called into question
the naming of comp.risks and comp.society.futures (among others).  Those
names were not arbitrary; they took their names from mailing lists.

If comp.women were a mailing list, where the name doesn't have to fit
into anybody's naming scheme, what would it be called?
