Message-ID: Date: 22 Jun 88 19:17:00 GMT Sender: usenet@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 18 Not having ever seen this "trojan horse" called "Turkey", I really can't say much about it, except this.. All it does is delete all the files in your current directory? This you call a "trojan horse"? This I call a mild nuisance.. We all do backups right? Daily incrementals and all that.. So.. The most I'd lose is a day... Big deal. Hell, I've had days where it would have saved me a lot of wasted time had such a beast come my way! (oh yeah, :') ...) Actually, most sane people would only lose the program itself, we all compile and run these net derived programs from a safe place right? And only after reading the code.. It's pretty hard to miss a "lib$delete_file" or "sys$erase" etc.. I guess I'm just in one of those funky moods... Cheers, Joe Meadows joe@fhcrcvax.bitnet
