Your best bet is to get a TN3270 emulator instead of a VT100 emulator when using the IBM. FTP System's TN3270 works very well with the Fibronics KNET software. It is REALLY FAST and of course running in block mode does not generate all those 64 byte packets containing 1 byte of user data when your typing in input mode. You will also experience problems in the VT100 emulator when you 'hyperwrap the cursor' and when you are in insert mode and the LAN is fairly heavily loaded.
