Much of the reason for newcomers (and some oldies) *not* reading the f......g manual, is that in computerdom (especially Unixdom) is that the manual is either unavailable, or so terse and un-Englishlike to be unreadable, or difficult to locate, or not recurrent enough to be found by new users. One suggestion might be that the moderator of comp.binaries.ibm.pc (or any other group with specialized submis- ion requirements) carry a perennial message describing the address of the moderator and procedures for submission..
