I have used it with a 1200 baud modem with some success, except that I couldn't get it to respond to the unix command "clear." So, in "vi" I couldn't get the screen set up right. I used to use the same model terminal with the termcap "mm340". The terminal has 19 small switches on the back, and I suspect I have a few set wrongly. There's a set of 8, then 3, then 8. If I remember correctly, the current settings are 00000000 000 00010001 I just noticed labels on another mime314 for the first set of switches. From left to right they are: T.O.1, T.O.2, Bit 8, P.I., # of stop bits, word length(2 switches), E/O parity The middle 3 switches are devoted to Full<->half duplex and off<->on closed loop. The right bank are devoted to baud rate. Does anyone know what the correct switch combination/termcap is? --David Finton "When the shrinks move in, it's the beginning of the end." -- Bullwinkle J.
