The "grey" viewer makes them look just fine, and I suspect that the new VGIF34 program will, too. Having two programs with the same name (vgif) is a pain, BTW. If anyone has an example of a program to take raster data and convert to gif format, I have a large number of Mandelbrot views to release. I also have some digitized b/w stuff done with a ScanJet, which I can put in any of several formats. I know how to write it from scratch, but I suspect that I would not have time until 1990, given the number of "spare time" projects already in the queue. -- bill davidsen (wedu@ge-crd.arpa) {uunet | philabs | seismo}!steinmetz!crdos1!davidsen "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward" -me
