The PICNIX V3 "cp" command will toss the trailing slash and will behave as: C> ls / argle/ bargle/ foo C> cp foo bar/ C> ls argle/ bar bargle/ foo That should have reported an error "could not create file bar/foo" but it didn't - it simply tossed the trailing slash and created the file bar.
