I agree, it is a pain that this important feature was left out of the emacstool interface. But Stuff does work. To move text to or from a Shelltool (or any text window with a "Stuff" option in its menu): Select the text you want to paste using the left and/or middle mouse buttons. When it's highlighted, move to the window you want to paste into and select "Stuff" from it's menu.
