The Imagen "engines" are pretty much the same ones used by other laser
printer makers.  (Canon, etc.) Of course, they have to add their own
controllers.  I've bought six or seven Imagens over the years and have
had very good luck with their hardware.  I think they do a good job.

I don't know anything about their Postscript clone software.  We use
their Impress models.   But I would not worry about their hardware
quality.
