I am not sure if this is the right place for this or not but here we go:
I am looking for information on the HP deskjet printer to be used with some
kind of IBM PC compatable.  I won't to know if I can use PC TEX with it,
i currently use TEX on a VAX with a laser printer an I like using it but
would like to buy my own PC with some sort of typsetting program (either
TEX or a desktop publisher) and be able to get good output.
Basically what i want to know is
 How good does it work?
 DO programs use it very good (like PC tex or pagemaker or what ever)
 Can i do a graphics dump to it (by pressing printscreen or something to
dump the graphics screen to it <== I use turbo pascal a lot)
 anything else you can tell me

also any thoughts on a true compatable PC AT would be helpful to know
