Curently, we are using a sendmail.cf file configured for a machine with "only uucp connections". The symbol ! has the highest precedence. This folly has now caught up with us, and I have taken on the task to correct our sendmail.cf file. I am new to the guts of sendmail, so any help to would be apreciated. As a side issue: The line in the "from:" field is in the form cornell!foo@blort.edu and when a reply (via "r") is sent the mail often disappears. Addresses in the form foo@blort.edu work fine. Is there a way not to have the cornell! prepended to the "from" address line? Thanks in advance. Cammie Howard cammie%oravax.uucp@cu-arpa.cs.cornell.edu System Administrator Odyssey Reseach Assoc.
