We run all the good mail programs here and we're also on the internet. We're running the latest bind and sendmail from ucbarpa. However, when I attempted to send something to chinet.chi.il.us, it got bounced back from sendmail with a 'host unknown' error message. Is there anything I need to do so that sendmail and/or bind can look up mx records for the US domain. Or have the sites in that domain not properly registered yet?? BTW, I ran sendmail with the -bt option and found that mail is sent to US domain sites the same way as the usual COM or EDU sites. Thanks.
