Lines: 14 [lots of stuff said by many people.] Sadly, as others have said, you're right. BYTE used to be a very interesting magazine, from my point of view. Then, it started becoming too much advertisements, too much Pournelle (who used to be interesting), and not enough articles on what I wanted to read about (new processors, that type of stuff). Unfortunately, the best "magazine" I've found has been UseNET.
