MONITOR SYSTEM,[...],PROCESSES/TOPCPU/VIEWING_TIME=x where x stands for 1,2,3,4. Dsick Seymour attended me to the fact that I hadn't mentioned CPU type and VMS version, and indeed, it appeared very important. We're still running VMS V4.5 on an 11/750, an 11/785, an 8530 and a 8650. ALL showed the problem. Dick tried it on a) a uVAX II gpx V4.5 - yep, problem. b) a 780 V4.6 - no problem. c) a uVAX2000 V4.7 - no problem. Presumably the bux was fixed before it was even documented. However, I'm curious if it does occur on other 4.6/4.7 systems. STAM@HROEUR51
