Lines: 50 If I try to start an aufs (or lwserv, or atistest) on a host other than the one running atis, it fails to register the name. atlook, papif, lwserv, aufs all work on the first host (bu-it) atlook and tlw from the second host (buit2) work. ================================================================ ================================================================ The example below is moot; buit2 is an NFS client of bu-it. There are places on campus where having aufs running on multiple hosts would do something useful. bu-it is 128.197.20.40 SOS 3.5 server buit2 is 128.197.20.41 SOS 3.5 diskless buitfp is 129.197.20.200 KFPS-2 w/ KIP 0688 ================================================================ Here is my atalkatab entry; # have FP do broadcast 1.20 H buitfp IT #IT appletalk-in-IP 3.1 K buitfp IT #IT localtalk I128.197.20.0 Ibu-it #ipbroad ipname L0 L0 #ipdebug ipfile L0 L0 L0 L0 #ipother[4] S0 S0 #atnetet ddprangestart LX0 S0 S5 #flags ipstatic ipdynamic %n %n #atneta atnete ================================================================ The atalk.local from the server host; # atalk.local for bu-it # NOTE!! node number is low octet of IP address!! # mynet mynode myzone 1.20 40 IT # bridgenet bridgenode bridgeIP 1.20 200 128.197.20.200 ================================================================ And from the second host; # atalk.local for buit2 # NOTE!! node number is low octet of IP address!! # mynet mynode myzone 1.20 41 IT # bridgenet bridgenode bridgeIP 1.20 200 128.197.20.200
