Given C and Unix's disdain for NIH, I suppose I shouldn't say this, but
in Algol 68 it's

         mode yinyang = proc(parameter)yinyang

or

         mode yinyang = proc struct(yinyang value)

If you're curious about proc struct(...) instead of proc yinyang, it has
to do with wellformed modes--something pascal screws up.
