I read in AmigaWhirled that somebody once recovered a deleted file with DiskDoctor (riiiiiight!). I accidentally deleted a data file last night and tried to recover it using diskdoctor... not only did I have no luck, but it said something like " error validating disk... key 720 already set" " disk structure corrupt... use DiskDoctor to correct it" Of course, using diskdoctor again (after first trying to copy as many files as I could to a fresh disk) did no good, as I got the same old "ERROR VALIDATING DISK". WORST OF ALL, it make all my .ilbm files (some of which took over 20 hours to generate using DBW 1.0) were UNREADABLE! So I copied what I could and reformatted my disk. Most data files were intact, but I couldn't even get into my pictures directory. Is there such a utility? One that restores recently deleted files? The problem I had is now gone, but I'd like to insure against re-occurrence.
