Original message follows: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi! I came upon some problems which I hope some one might be able to help me. They are all different, so please read them all, even if some of them are not within your range of interest. 1. How can I send/receive MIDI information through the serial port? I tried open it with a baud rate of 32950, or whatever the value that was suggested was, but when I sent a nessage the music device replyed with MIDI error. What is the right commands to do that? 2. I tried and used the MIDI library that was in one of the Fish-disks. I wanted to play some notes, and I used the Timer-device to make certain time pass between sequencial notes. When I opened the timer-device once more, without using it for requests, I got the same notes played, but twice as slow. What could be the reason for that? 3. I write a game, and I want to use both ports for joysticks. How can I get Intuition out of the way? Any help will be most thankfully accepted. -Goren ------------------------------------------------------------------------- End of original message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Udi Finkelstein | Bitnet: finkel@taurus.bitnet or finkel@math.tau.ac.il Tel Aviv University | Internet: finkel%taurus.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu Israel | UUCP: ...!psuvax1!taurus.bitnet!finkel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
