It acts extremely close to "vi", which I've used almost exclusively now for about 5 years. It does NOT do "ex" commands, except for a very tiny subset, and it doesn't do decent regular expression processing. This means that commands like ":g/^/ s//>/" aint gonna work. I also miss "!Gfmt-77", but you can't have everything I guess. I'm surprised there isn't more out there, because there are several vi clones for MessyDos machines, some of them almost exactly like vi, and some a bit better.
