You're probably right: I really had reliability problems when I had my drive
sitting on top of a Tandy 1000, and Tandy is known for flouting FCC require-
ments. This could be more of the same.

The other symptom I had when I put the drive on its side, though, can't really
be explained that way. That was in incredible increase in the volume level of
the disk groinker (:->).
