Keywords: 68881, lattice 4.0 Message-ID: <975@onion.cs.reading.ac.uk> Date: 29 Jul 88 16:50:42 GMT Organization: Comp. Sci. Dept., Reading Univ., UK. Lines: 18 We have built a plug board based on the motorola spec which comprises a 68020 / 68881 and pals and plugs in place of the 68000. This board works fine except we are trying to test the floating point unit. I seem to remember that somone said it was possible to force lattice 4.0 to use the 68881 fpu instead of software emulation. Can anyone tell me how to do this ? Help , I have tried using both the standard math library and the FFP library but the test program still runs at a speed you would expect for software emul. Thanks in advance for any assistance, Shawn Fraser, Reading University. -- // -- Steve Fisher Micro. Unit. Computer Science Dept. \\ |-- & > Reading University //.||. Shawn Fraser Cybernetics Dept.
