I just solved this problem for the Imagewriter I borrowed from a friend not
more than an hour ago!  When I got it, it would print in a proportional-space
typestyle, so columns wouldn't line up and program listings looked horrible.
A quick call to a dealer revealed that for normal (elite) type, switches
6 and 7 on SW1 should be on and off (open), respectively.
