I cancelled my order with Tech Specialties after he couldn't deliver the 
promised product for 6 weeks after the date I ordered unless I was willing
to pay $40 more (apparently he is using the old Atari adaptor boards and
he ran out (I was told by someone else that those boards have a bug))

I ended up buying from Berkeley Microsystems (415) 465-6956 for $325
(including a clock, fan, large box (holds 4 half heights), power supply,
cables, and software.)  I bought the drive from Computer Terminal
in New York (800)-223-4492.  Their regular price is $435 but I told the
guy that I had seen it for $410 from another mail order and he was willing
to beat it. (for $399 + shipping.)  They made a mistake, (thought I 
send a personal check when it was a certified check) so that it didn't
get shipped until today. (they paid for the difference between ground and
next day air).  I should have it on friday and I will try it out, if anyone
has any questions send mail. (if there is enough response I will post)

By the way, Vance, at Berkeley Microsystems was very helpful.  He even
came to the office on Saturday for me so that I could pick it up rather than
have it shipped.
