I believe all HP cartridges are pre-formatted. Does this mean it is trying to read a header or something. If so, in what way are they pre-formatted ???? Problem is that we leave our backups running overnight unattended, and when we do a full backup onto about 5 cartridges it makes it very difficult to track down which cartridge is at fault. Also, having tracked down the faulty cartridge, is it possible to re-format it for later use ??? Thanks if anyone can help, Andy. -- Andy Pearman, Computer Dept, Philips Research Labs, Redhill, Surrey, England.
