Yes, I bought one 2 weeks ago. I love it. Especially the price. It is 100% compatible with the ImageWriter I. The Mac doesn't know the difference. No drivers or special procedures are needed. And it has a very nice feature: the single sheet feed. As far as performance goes, its draft print is as fast as the Imagewriter. Its Best and graphics are much slower. But the quality is the same. One thing I cannot do is to use my Thunderscan with it because its ribbon is the flat type and the Thunderscan detector box doesn't fit. But what the heck. You can't beat the price.
