And have had no problems running 6.0 on it (it now has 2 megs, 128K ROMs, and a SCSI port, of course). Is it possible that the newer SCC and clock chip predate the Mac Plus? Anyone have a chunk of source code to test whether extended PRAM is present, or is this even possible? Maybe I should search through IM IV... I shouldn't have the new chips, but since the sound manager works, maybe the tech who installed my ROM/drive upgrade was feeling benevolent?
