Or anything else that is common to UNIX (4.2BSD). > There are three packages for the mac that I know of that support YMODEM file transfers. Red Ryder 10.3, VersaTerm/VersaTerm Pro, and MicroPhone II. NOw I would suggest against Red Ryder since its YMODEM implementation is know to be non-standard and only works in one direction (the opposite one that you need, too..). However either of the other packages will od the trick for you. I would recommend MicroPhone II as the package of choice as you will find it a VERY NICE communications package as it also supports Kermit transfers which VersaTerm does not. It also does lots of other things too, but I'll save those for another message. (Disclamier: I am currently working for Software Ventures, and therefore have a vested interest in MicroPhone II) +---------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ + + Any thing I say may be taken as + + Leonard Rosenthol + fact, then again you might decide+ + President, LazerWare, inc. + that it really isn't, so you + + + never know, do you?? + + leonardr@uxe.cso.uiuc.edu + + + GEnie: MACgician + MacNET: MACgician + + Delphi: MACgician + + + + + +---------------------------------+-----------------------------------+
