I did just that last week (under Coral's Allegro CL), and will try to clean up my mods and make them available for inclusion into the DOE Macsyma distribution as soon as I get some more time to play with it. However, a fully loaded Macsyma just barely fits on a 4Meg Mac (it runs, but gc's a lot). It should be possible to make it fit more comfortably in 4Meg by reviving the old autoloading scheme, but that's probably the best that can be done with currently available Lisp technology. So if you're looking for something in the 2Meg range, forget Macsyma. -- gz@entity.com ...!mit-eddie!spt!gz Sex is the mathematics urge sublimated
