The ball is only resting on the rollers so all you have to do to clean it is pick it up, no phillip screwdrivers required. My mouse scaling whent from Full to #2. On the other hand, at the Smithsonian we bought the Asher engineering one to test, and it was terrible. The ball is too small and it doesn't roll freely. I'll post a message about the Kensington one when we get it. The abaton was $99 from MacConnection 1800-Mac&lisa.
