Due to the fact that WriteNow does not recognize the existance of the Script Manager, it will not work properly (as you ahve discovered) with any of the foreign systems (incl. Kanji). Entering of text will work, but don't even consider trying to edit it later on. This is true of ANY program which does not support the Script Manager.
