This is a disk catalog application which is somewhat different compared with the competitors. Some of the features: * Disks are shown in a window with icons and names listed in alphabetic or chronologic order. * It shows the files just as in Finder with icons and all. Even the correct positions of icons(small or normal sized) and windows are used. * Clean up command replacing the position of files in alphabetic order. * Smart Find File/Disk with whole or partial string either from beginning of catalog or from current selected position. * "Get Info" command similar to the one found in Finder. * Reports on paper with filter functions. * Possible to merge catalog files * Add/Delete/Update disks is simple to do. * Launch/Transfer application either with the usual "getfile" dialog or double-click as in Finder if the corresponding disk is mounted. * On-Line Help (even it isn't needed). ...and much more. DIRectory v2.5 was released as shareware couple of months ago. However, a faster and a much more powerful version (3.0) will be released in the near future as a commercial product and is guaranteed to hold at least 650 disks! Two weeks ago I tested a beta version. I logged 110 disks without quiting and generated a 190 pages report without any problems at all. Lars Sundstrom / DIRectory tester
