I mean just because you're using AppleTalk doesn't mean you have to use the network. Connecting laserWriter to a single mac via appletalk is essentially a direct connection. 2) How are you going to print to it. The LaserWriter drive *ASSUMES* the laser printer is on AppleTalk, and if there is a way to change this {I'm positive there isn't} I'd bet it's not easy. So if you could get the LaserWriter connected how would you use it??? 3) There's no point. It will work with no problems what so ever on A-Talk why try and be diffferent, I mean the cables only cost about $50.00, if you can afford a LaserPrinter and then can't afford the $50.00 buck to hook it up well I'll be happy to take that nasty laser printer off your hands for you.
