Whenever I have to use a normal mouse on one of our other systems I realize how much I like the Abaton. My boss (an experienced Mac user) tried it and was not as impressed as I am, so it may take you some time to get used to a trackball mouse. I started using the ProPoint when I started using the Mac. One thing I really like is the fact that it takes a set amount of desk space. My desk is usually so crowded that a normal mouse doesn't have room to wander. But that is a personal problem.
