       For the last month or so, the major addition to sumac, and macserve@
pucc has been eight files whose names begin with xxx.  All are at least 
400K bytes.  These eight files appear to be several files apiece combined
together for some reason.  Since they have been available for more than two week
s, is anyone going to split them up?  Are future postings going to be merged in 
this way?
      If no one is going to split them up, I volunteer to do so, at least to the
extent I can.  If I don't hear form anyone by August 5th and the files are 
still in their present form, I will try to do the splitting.  Unfortunately I
don't know how to send the results back to any of the archives so they will 
have to be on this machine for anyone who wishes to retrieve them.
