I am having troubles getting my phone stack to dial numbers. Whatever I tell it to dial (e.g. "dial "3446824" with modem, etc), the receiver never goes off-hook. I have tried prepending "ATDT" / "+++ATDT" in all sorts of ways with no effect. I can see the data going to the modem (on the modem lights), and the modem responds, but nothing happens. Hypercard is putting my 2400-baud modem in 1200-baud mode, for some reason. For long distance, my goal is to dial MCI (950-1022, 0, ). I don't really use it for local dialing. Can someone tell me how to make my phone stack dial? Please respond via e-mail. Thanks. Don Gillies, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Illinois 1304 W.
