If requested, I will post the answers: I want to set my SCO Xenix 2.2.1 (286) to go into cbreak mode, either using curses, or directly using termio. However, the system drops DTR whenever the setting ioctl() is called. A brief drop, but enough to make our Trailblazer drop the line. It has been suggested that I put a capacitor on the DTR line, so that the (brief) DTR drop does not make it to the modem, but a longer drop at the end of the call will effect the hangup. Still, isn't there a software solution? -- Evan Leibovitch, SA, system telly, located in beautiful Brampton, Ontario evan@telly.UUCP / {uunet!attcan, utzoo}!telly!evan "Aye, and if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a wagon"
