I think there's a big difference between joining OSF and responding to
the user interface RFP. AT&T/Sun are trying to push Open Look as a
standard, and having it adopted by OSF would be a step in that direction.

If anything, it would mean more problems with the OSF license, as OSF
would have to license Open Look from AT&T.
