He probably wants RJE. Your average RS-232 interface won't cut it for synchronous protocols. Worse, he might need NRZI encoding on top of that. Various vendors (like HP :->) provide RJE and SNA offerings for some of their systems; give your vendor a call and find out. Andy Valencia
