Keywords: AT type 1 drive Microscience HELP Message-ID: <894@gaboon.UUCP> Date: 21 Jul 88 11:56:11 GMT Organization: gaboon, SCO Xenix System, New Fairfield, CT Lines: 29 I have an old Kamerman Labs 10 Mbyte hard disk that a friend would like to use on his AT clone. It is an old Microscience drive. Unfortunatley I have no docs on the drive and there are 10 switches in the bach next to the power plug that I'm sure have to be changed. Two hours of random swithching and trying did not get the drive recognized by the AT. The only labels on the drive are: Microscience International Corporation Model HH 612 s/n R351A0006 A bar code with HH612B on it. An end sticker with: LR56431 defect info with one defect. It is a 10 Mbyte drive that came with a controllet for PC/XT use. Any Microscience people out there? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please reply by mail as this is quite a specific request not generally interesting (but you never know!)
