I am thinking of getting a PC. I would like it to run some flavor of UN*X and I have heard that XENIX does a good job without all of the fuss. What I want to know is, 1) What is the minimum configuration for XENIX? pc xt: cpu - 8088, ram - 512K, 2 360K disks etc.? 2) What is a more acceptable configuration? pc at: cpu - 80286, ram - 1M, 1 1.2M FD, 1 20M HD disks etc.? Please e-mail your replies. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Dave Jenkins at {att}!homxc!dj
